Marissa Chu

Recently I haven't been doing too much modelling due to my final exams at university but I am finally finished! On a rare break I got the opportunity to shoot for an awesome young designer Marrisa Chu. I fell in love with her pieces as soon as I saw them. The prints and cuts are perfect examples of Sports Luxe and I was so excited to shoot them as they were completely different from anything I had shot before. The sensational photography was of course by the one and only Rachel Abraham, if you have read some of my previous posts you will know she is one of my absolute favourite photographers and good friend. I love the high fashion feel and the urban background. The amazing makeup looks were created by the lovely Chari Smith, who was a complete pleasure to work with. Not only is she super sweet but her makeup skills are perfect. The colors she used complimented the pieces so well and I love the vampy look. The cool wet look hair styles were created by the legendary Fratelli hair salon. The other stunning model with the breathtaking hair was the gorgeous Emma. She was really lovely and very professional. Here are some of my favourites

BARK Jewellery AW14

A few weeks ago in her lovely studio in Farringdon I met with the amazing jewellery designer Miwako Yoshioka. Miwako is such a lovely and welcoming person and over a cup of green tea she showed me the stunning pieces I would be wearing. Each piece is so delicate and beautiful and I was so excited to be modelling them! I adore small intricate jewellery so Miwako's collection was a dream. Whilst admiring the jewellery, Miwako told me about the vintage theme for the shoot and I almost squealed with excitement. The awesome Terri O'Connell created these fantastic vintage makeup looks with a modern twist. Terri was so much fun to work with, with her infectious personality and flawless makeup skills, she also created wonderful hairstyles in a matter of minutes! The beautiful photos were taken by the fabulous Karin Xiao. Karin was really great to work with and creates gorgeous effortless photos with natural light, she is the photographer for many of the BARK jewellery collections and you can see why Miwako uses her again and again! I had a really perfect day shooting with this team and the giraffe (who's name escapes me). If you were in Paris during fashion week you may have seen the look book with these photos in!

Sophie Ellen Photography

On a rare sunny day a few weekends ago I was lucky enough to shoot with the fantastic Sophie Ellen Lachowycz in her beautiful sunlight studio and out on location. Sophie is most definitely one of the sweetest people you will have the pleasure of meeting let alone work with and her passion for her work really shows, constantly switching from digital to film cameras creating stunning and diverse photography, mixing delicate natural feels with high fashion. Sophie along with taking these images, styled the shoot. The wonderfully unusual pieces are from Sanctus and Louise McKay. The perfect hair and make-up looks were created by the lovely Julie Flatman from MissSweetie Pie Makeup Artistry and Beauty. Julie is such a warm and friendly person, whilst doing my make-up she made me feel so relaxed it felt like I was having a spa treatment. She gave brilliant advice on products and skincare and showed an amazing knack for creating natural looks. Both Sophie and Julie are the most calming people I have ever worked with and after spending the day shooting with them I felt more relaxed than I thought possible. I had so much fun and I really cannot wait to work with them again! Here are some of my favourites.

The images from the location shoot at the church are an editorial featured in DeVour magazine and can be seen online here!-http://www.devour-magazine.com/eternal-home/4583266533

It's Gastby Darling - Isobel Hind Couture 2013

A few months back I got the opportunity to shoot with an amazing team for Isobel Hind Couture again! This team holds a very special place in my heart as it's the first team I ever shot with! We have all kept in contact since then and became good friends which made shooting even more fun. The other model you see is the insanely stunning Georgia McPherson, this was her first shoot (hard to believe I know) and she took to it like a duck to water. Georgia was lovely to work with and I would love to work with her again. Samantha from Isobel HindCouture really does create the most magical pieces of couture jewellery and you can see how much work and love goes into each piece. Her latest collection was inspired by the 1920's and I loved wearing her pieces, it felt as though I was wearing the crown jewels .They are just breathtaking. The fabulous photos you see were taken by amazing Jade Sayers AKA Jeanie Isobel Photography. Jade knows how to capture the light perfectly, creating beautiful dreamy photos with a high fashion feel . I adore the colours and tones she uses and she has some fantastic ways of getting the models to smile and look natural. The gorgeously vintage hair and makeup was created by the fantastic Tori Harris. I love working with Tori as she is a complete expert at hair and makeup and always captures the feel of the shoot to a T. She is so friendly and relaxing when she is doing you up you feel as though you’re catching up with an old friend. Her eye for detail is impeccable as you can tell with the hairstyles she created. The dresses and delicious cakes were provided by Very Vintage Bridal and A Little Piece Of Cupcake. And the magnificent venue was the exquisite Narborough Hall Gardens. Here are some of my favourites from the shoot. Enjoy!
